Getting in Shape for the holiday’s

If you are like me and would like to get in shape for the holiday feast fest, you should read this. Getting in shape & improving your health through physical fitness training is a great gift to give ourselves for the holidays. With more and more people in our local Austin community gaining weight to the point of obesity, the challenge to get in shape can be a lonely one. Going to the gym, in the beginning, can be a daunting event filled with insecurity and lots of “What do I do now”? If you decide to get a trainer, be sure they realize and create the program that is suited for you in the shape you’re in now and not one designed for one of Leonitous’s courageous 300. Meaning, that often in commercial gyms the trainers don’t take into account your present condition and this can lead to aggravating injuries that delay your progress both in the short and long term. BE sure to insist on gently easing you into the program that will help you get to your goals. I promise you that slow and STEADY is better than work out today, take a week or more to recover from a hamstring pull and than get to work out again. With a good challenging weekly routine the pounds will be shed you’l have improved health and you will probably feel much better than you do now.
